I've had a sudden deluge of reports of the audio from X50s into Teams being quiet and fading in and out, I know Teams on Desktop was updated this month, is anyone aware of the cause of this problem.

 

In group calls it's only the Studio X that has quiet and varying microphone pickup, for example if a user starts speaking on the X50 it takes a few seconds for the voice to fade in, they're also rather quiet.

Same here, just tested it from a few X50 devices, the other participants in the meeting experience very low volume. 

 

Not sure when it started, I just noticed it today.

This was a change by our Partner Microsoft. The workaround for this is shared in the link above.

 

We will make a change to accommodate the change made by our Partner Microsoft in the next 4.1 release
