Poly X30 Zoom Room - No Auto Share

Hello Poly Community, 

 

We have an issue where the Poly X30 is in Zoom Room mode but when connecting a HDMI cable the content does not auto share. There are multiple Poly Zoom Rooms on site all with the same settings on Zoom (the crucial one being "Start HDMI content share manually on controller" - turned off). 

 

It is only this room which requires the user to start sharing manually. This issue has started since we replaced the Extron video switcher feeding the content to the X30 but nothing else has changed. This simply sends a HDMI feed to the X30.

 

Poly X30 - Poly StudioX30 3.12.0_01-366028

Touch TC8 - Poly PolyTC8 3.12.0-210749

Zoom Room app version - 5.11.3

 

Has anyone had this problem before or any reccomendations?

Welcome to the Poly Community.


Does this work without the Extron aka just an HDMI cable?

 

  • If yes, work with Extron support.
  • If no, factory reset the Studio and test this again

Thanks Steffen, I believe it is the same regardless of the Extron connection. We will try a reset and see if this resolves.
