Hi,

We have a number of G40-Ts and they reboot on a nightly basis. We have an issue where once they reboot the GC8 doesnt come on until the USB-C fibre cable is unplugged and plugged back into the PC. We have installed 1080p EDID emulators but this doesnt seem to have resolved the issue. This only seems to be an issue in rooms that have two external 4k monitors connected via HDMI.

Is it possible to disable the nightly reboot on these devices?

The G40-T is running 4.12.138.0

Thanks

Hello @Trueman1991 ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

This is more a question to our Partner Microsoft as I believe they added the reboot to the MTR software.

In regards to the GC8 detection, this should come into our support organisation as from the description it seems to match an issue I am aware of.

Please raise a case and quote internal ticket 34026594/EN-226535

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
