Poly Android devices upgrades roadmap

One of our clients is asking the below.

Please can I get some advice or log a ticket to find out the Poly roadmap for their Teams Certified Android meeting room devices, e.g. Poly Studio X50/TC8
We are looking to enforce minimum Android O/S versions and see that the current platform is still only Android 10 for these devices.
Is there a roadmap for upgrading these to Android 11/12 etc.

Would you be able to advise if this information that is currently known or can be shared publicly at this point in time?

Hello @Tiberiu ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Via the Medium of a community forum, we cannot share any details about potentially unreleased software or any roadmap.

The best and quickest way forward is to contact our Poly Sales as the community is run by volunteers only and an NDA would need to be in place.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Re: Poly Android devices upgrades roadmap

Hi Steffen,

When contacting Poly support on 16 May 2023, I was originally directed to the sales department on case 34579780, which was closed as it wasn't a support query.

Today I called Sales a number of times on 0800 0152 882, but the number was incorrect.

Then I called support again, they said to ask/post on this community forum, as the developers would be around & potentially have an answer.

Now I am to go back to sales, which I have already tried.

When you say sales, are you referring to a Poly AM instead?

For a little bit more context from the client: "All we want is to be able to set the minimum device compliance in InTune to Android 11 or above and without setting a specfic Intune Compliance for these ASSI Poly Studio X50 devices."

Appreciate this is a sensitive topic, but would like to understand who's the best actor to reach out that could hold this information, even if they can't go into specifics, as I realize the client's query is very particular.

Thank you!
