Forum Members/Guest,

Can someone recommend a VGA-to-YPbPr signal converter box for camera input on HDX 8000?  Please respond with a vendor and possibly model/part#.

We believe we are running into the problem described in Article# 14021 - "PC video through VGA-to-YPbPr signal converter is not present on HDX camera input." from Polycom's Knowledge Base.  It suggest the below workaround, but is not specific with a 3rd party vendor.

Workaround: Use a converter with tri-level sync.

it would be best that someone has integrated this solution successfully.  Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Steve Han

Forum Members/Guest,

Thank you for your replies.  We continued to do our research and found the following product as a possible solution.  Below is a link to the porduct page and User Manual for HDMI to PC/HD Component Converter.

http://www.converters.tv/products/hdtv_to_vga/661.html

http://www.converters.tv/manuals/hdmi_to_pc_hd_component_converter_661_575.pdf

The price is $135.00.

How this helps for others searching for such a converter box with tri-level sync requirements.
