Hello
We are trying to connect outside microphones on X50. In documentations it say that it is possible to connect mics on to stereo jack as long they are as LINE input. We have done this and they work, but the problem is that there is no way how to disable built-in microphones from X50. Is there any way, we could use only stereo jack input on X50 for microphone and disable built-in microphones from X50?
If both work at the same time, audio is very bad, because we get same audio with delay to far site.

Klemen

Hi @Kliman

You should read release notes to get clear view on this.

In PolyOS version 3.2.1 support for 3.5mm jack was introduced and it states that:

3.5 mm Audio Input on Studio X50
You can now configure the Studio X50 to use its 3.5 mm audio port for audio input. The Studio X50 3.5 mm audio input is only supported as an audio content input and can’t be used as a 3.5 mm microphone input.

So what you are trying to do is unsupported scenario. Sorry.

Cheers

Lukasz
