Hello,

 

We have two EagleEye HD cameras hooked up to our HDX 9000. I had a client asking if we could do PIP for the two of them (i.e. the picture from camera 2 within the picture of camera 1). I said no, but I wanted to double check.

I think you are right.

 

In theory this can be done with third party equipment Picture−In−Picture Inserter (like Kramer PIP-200XL eg). You need also  breakout cables and external power supply for cameras, BNC to BNC  cables and DB-9 M connectors. Picture−In−Picture Inserter must support tri-level sync on YPbPr (Component) output.
