Hi,
My config check boxes are greyed out ( Under Admin Settings > Network > Call Preference.)
so I can’t change them to allow me to be able to force a SIP connection. Is there any other way to force a SIP connection?
Like putting sip: before the connection string (I tried that already of course).
thanks in advance.

Hi Shariff,
Two possible reasons for those boxes remain greyed: LAN cable not - or not correctly - connected or LAN is not correct set up. Have you checked both?

Hi Joao,
Thanks for the update. The HDX is working fine. I am tryin to access it remotely and configuring it but these options are grayed out. Any other suggestion?
Thanks
Shariff
Also I would like to know , Might it be that the policies put down by the CMA are making the boxes greyed out? The boxes are already ticked, I just can’t un-tick them to disable the setting.

Hello,
If the HDX is being dynamically managed by CMA you’ll have the make the changes on the automatic provisioning profile on the CMA.
After the changes have been made, reboot the HDX system so that the CMA server can push the new profile, or wait about 5 minutes and the CMA server should push the profile to the HDX.
Sip has to be enabled under call preferences in order to make sip calls. There’s no other way to force it.
