Hi,

 

does the Groups Series has built in IR reciever for the remote control, i.e. can i use the romote control to control the group series even if the camera is not connected? thanks...

Hello, 

 

All of the Group Series have built in IR sensors on the front. You don't need a camera connected to use the remote with any Group Series.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply. But its mentioned in the Administrator Guide that:  "Polycom RealPresence Group systems have built-in IR receivers to receive signals from the remote control"

 

so what you think?

All of the Group Series have built in IR sensors on the front. You don't need a camera connected to use the remote with any Group Series.
