My company inherited am old Polycom HDX6000 unit.

I am trying to set it up from scratch and do a factory reset.

I did the actions listed in the pdf guide, but the polycom has been on the water drop screen for over an hour.

Usually, how long does it take for the HDX6000 to cycle through a factory reset?

Thanks

It should only take 10-15 mins.  Try the reset again &/or see if you can ping it (find IP via MAC address which begins 00:E0:DB) & see if you can get the web interface to pull a new s/w image.

So I have tried it multiple times, and still am unable to reset the device.

I am pushing in the rest button, turning on the device, holding the reset button for 15 seconds, and the unit shows the POLYCOM water drop screen for over 15-20min.

Any other advice?

Also, my remote does not seem to be paired with the base. Is there a way to pair these two up?

thanks
