Hi

Client is using few HDX 9, 7 and 6 series endpoints. All HDX's use SIP and register at Lync 2010 and Exchange server.

HDX endpoint have installed  3.0.5-22695 firmware.

Sometimes users want to initiate A/V connections to HDX's at other organizations  using H.323 protocol.

Is possible to initiate H.323 connections to Internet without change SIP to H.323 mode at HDX configuraton?

What is requirements for firewall to initiate H.323 connections ?

I'm Lync specialist so any comment will be helpful 🙂

Regards

MarcinW

1. Admin Settings->Network->Call Preference: Enable both Sip & H323

2. Admin Settings->Network->Network Dialing: Preferred Dialing Method: Auto

                                                                         Video Dialing Order: set to what you need
