HDX 9000

hi

 

i have HDX 9 000, it is restnarting automatically for every 10-15min,

i have tried with reset buttion located at front side of the machine, but not working with this trick..

 

can any one help me how to come out from this problem

What version of software is your HDX running?  Can you upgrade to the latest version using a USB stick?

Already upgrade to the latest version using a USB stick is done. still same issue !!!

Have you tried Factory Restore and load the image from the factory?

 

To reset the system to its factory partition software using the restore button:

  1. 1  While the system is powered off, press and hold the restore button.

  2. 2  While holding the restore button, press the power button once.

  3. 3  Keep holding the restore button for 5 more seconds, then release it.

During the factory restore process, the system displays the Polycom startup screen on component monitors. Other types of monitors will be blank. Do not power off the system during the factory restore process. The system restarts automatically when the process is complete. 

 

Otherwise, if the codec will not be stable, issue a RMA request to have the system replaced.

Hello all,

 

before a RMA of the unit itself, an attempt to work with the Polycom Reseller or Polycom Support should be the minimum troubleshooting effort.

 

The logs should at least be checked.

polycom not given any key code for software update,den can u tell me how to upgrade unit without key code

Hello mreindia.com,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Hi I need help to login as admin on my hdx 9002. The default credential (Admin / serialNumber) is not working.

PLease is there another way to lo as admin.

Jun 21,2014 Question: What is the factory default username and password of a HDX or Group Series system?

Answer: 
Default Username: admin
Default Password: 14 digit HDX / Group Series serial number printed on the back fo the HDX / Group Series ending for example with the letters CN
