The HDX 8000 have an output that can be taken to a video recording device, if you have a device that allows for S_video and line level audio input you should d be able to share that application via WebEx.

Sharing WebEx via the HDX 8000 is simply sharing the PC/laptop that WebEx is running on as a content input to the HDX.

Can the eagle eye camera be used as a Webex camera?

HP Recommended

EagleEye cameras are designed to work with the Polycom systems.  The EEIII and EagleEye View work on the HDX, QDX and RealPresence Group Series.  The EagleEye IV and EagleEye Acoustic work with the RealPresence Group Series.

AMX and Crestron have 'locked' modules to control the cameras (need external Power supply for them).

It would not make much sense from a cost POV but you could use an AMX or Crestron contoller to output a format to the PC supporting WebEx and control it from the control system controller.

Another option is to use a codec and take the output into the PC for the video.

Another option is to look at the CX 5100 or CX 5500 cameras.  Look here

I am glad you like the EagleEye cameras but they are not designed as a WebCam.

According to Polycom, about the VX 5100 and the 5500:

Interop with other applications than Lync is not officially supported and they only see the active speaker view – not the 360 view that the Lync client gets.
