Hello,

the HDX 8000 supports the following audio standards:

Siren 22, Siren 14, G.722, G.7.22.1, G.711, G.728, G.729A

 

But which bit rates of the pssibilieties are used by the HDX 8000? For example the Siren 22 codec is available at 64, 96 and 128 kbit/s. Is there a summary of all codecs? Or is the bit rate variable?

HP Recommended

During capabilities exchange the HDX will automatically decide which Audio algorithm to use.  This is based on what both endpoints are capable of. A lowest common algorithm based on factors like bandwidth available, system settings etc will be used.
