Group Series 500 Mic Array cable extension

We would like to extend the mic array cable (Walta ends) due to underfloor routing.  In the latest Integrator's manual the instructions have you extends using Cat5 Shielded cable terminating the end with a RJ45 connector.  The instruction then state to plug the RJ45 connector into the group series unit.  Problem is that the only RJ45 conector on the GS 500 unit  is used for the LAN.  I believe these directions work for the HX series which has a RJ45 connector for the Mic.

What am i missing?

Does the 2457-25646-001 Walta to RJ45 adapter work with the Group series table mics? Or only with the HDX mics? I know they have a slight different inner molding. Please advise. Thanks
