Hi,

I have a problem with Skype integration. I have 50 gs 500 endpoint but I'm just testing skype integration with 2 devices. Devices versions are same 6.1.2 and all licenses are okay.

All the settings of both devices are the same. When I schedule a meeting from outlook (skype meeting). the first device shows on the screen meeting info and join button. But the second device doesn't show any information about the meeting. They are working on the same network. (no firewall)

What I tried: I tried same 2 accounts on the first device. (Skype account, Microsoft exchange) and ı got meeting information and join button on the screen after ı chanced same network cables and ip address and its worked on the first device. But the second device is not showing meeting info and join button.

hi Oktay,

Here's how I would approach this .Since one GS unit calendaring works the following can be done to troubleshoot the non working GS unit :

1. Check the GS configuration on the non working GS and calendaring status.
2. Check GS log to see the meeting invite information . If the meeting information is not there in the log then the join button wouldn't appear.
3. Isolate the issue by testing this particular GS using another mailbox - working. If it works then the mailbox configuration has to be checked.
4. Compare mailbox settings with the other working GS and find if the settings are the same.

Hope this Helps!

Status bar is green

it's really complicated for me.

Same mailbox working with another gs500
4. Compare mailbox settings with the other working GS and find if the settings are the same.

I did and everything looks same.

Hello @oktay.furtana,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Lets just recap this:

  • One GroupSeries A has been tested with Account A.
When using GroupSeries B with Account A on the same Network Port GroupSeries B does not show the Join Button but GroupSeries A does?

If you downloaded / compared the configuration then the next step would be to escalate this into Polycom support via your reseller.

let's say to my endpoints X and Y.

X endpoint is working with A account and A network cable. (it's working correctly)

Y endpoint is working with B account and B network cable. ( it's not working )

My test for being sure about accounts and network cable;

X endpoint with B account and B network cable (it still works)

Y endpoint with A account and A network cable (still not working)

And don't forget all configurations are the same I compare them 10 times.

Another suggeston from within Polycom:

That said I would check the mailbox settings/types. If they’re room mailboxes the customer should ensure the extended properties are not being deleted.

Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity "<room name>" -RemovePrivateProperty $false
