G7500 with 3.11.0 firmware and Teams preview version

Hello All, 

 

Is the Teams app preview version fully usable ? 

Can I make a demo to a customer properly ? 

Or there are some really basic features not enabled ?

Welcome back to Poly community!

 

In Poly G7500 Microsoft Teams is available as a provider for preview purposes only and still not certified for MS teams in version 3.11 so it is not advisable to use.

Thx for your answer .
I knew that it wasnt certified, thats why I mentionned the demonstration purpose? 
Is it possible? 

The teams app is working ? The design looks like the official one?  it is like a beta version?

Hello @TL  

 

our Partner Microsoft needs to certify the device. This has not yet happened since the original announcement I believe back in 2020.

 

Only once this is done by Microsoft can the G7500 be used just like its siblings the Studio X30 or Studio X50.

 

It runs the exact same software and client but we cannot provide any support and neither does Microsoft when used with a G7500.
