G7500 firmware downgrade

Hello!

When I am trying to move from 3.14.1 to 3.9.0 version I successfully got 3.9.0 and run it (according to Information status on device) but when I make a factory reset the device being recovered with version 3.14.1 again (not 3.9.0 what was uploaded earlier).

Does anybody know why it happened?

Re: G7500 firmware downgrade

Hello @bav ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Depending on the version the Factory partition gets updated and therefore a factory restore will return to this version. What is the reason for going back to such an old version?

The best and quickest way forward is to contact our Support organisation as the community is run by volunteers only.

Re: G7500 firmware downgrade

Hi Steffen!

The reason of downgrading is to get firmware version where HDCI camera(MPTZ) will work properly. As for now, camera is detected by codec and can be even managed(rotation and so on) but no video from the camera.

We have the second codec with 3.12.0 and camera works fine.

So, may be upgrade caused the problem and the idea to roll back to check

Hello @bav

I would get this into support so we can investigate. This should work.
