We have a client that has several rooms using G7500's that are controlled by Crestron systems. We are unable to find a command in the API that allows for the 'Camera' on/off function as found on the Polycom touch panel. The firmware on all of the G7500s is 3.4.0-292042. Is there are command we could use to achieve this?

Look at the command "videomute".  BUT the descriptions in the CLI API guide are not accurate and we are going to get them corrected.

  • videomute near on – turns on video mute, so no video will be transmitted
  • videomute near off – turns off video mute so video will show normally.

Thanks for your question and it will lead to an update of the documentation to make it clearer.
