I have a Studio X50/TC8 running in MTR mode.

Is it possible to set one of the presets on the camera of the X50/TC8 to be the default when joining a Teams call? I do not see an option to set one of the presets I've configured to be a default on the camera control options on the TC8 during a call.

Hi @Midnite8 ,

my colleagues may correct me if i´m wrong, but, to my best knowledge, this is not possible.

Back in the days you were able to set preset 0 as the default camera position after reboot, but this setting is not working for the Teams App (at least in my test). Currently you´d need to join a meeting and then call your preset position or, if applicable, use one of the integrated framing options.

Cheers, Uwe

Ok I can accept that for now, there is an odd behavior in which after selecting a preset and exiting out of the camera control/preset menu, I can no longer access the camera control/present menu(by swiping to the left from the right of the touch panel) again to change to a different preset.

Hello @Midnite8 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow up post should contain.

Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the FAQ’s listed in my signature for your convenience.

For the camera menu access issue, I would suggest you ensure you are on a current version like 3.9.1 (so far we do not know) and also on the latest Teams APK via the TAC 1449/1.0.96.2021122201

If this is the case you can open a ticket with Microsoft support as they provide the Teams application running on our Studio X devices. If this fails alternatively contact Poly support initially but we ma

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
