I am in Australia and I have talked to a local Poly engineer for year to resolve this.
My Trio 8800 does not join by dialling firstname.lastname@example.org. I don't know if this is configuration issue or VoIP issue. Is anyone in Australia using Trio 8800 able to join by dialling email@example.com?
The Poly engineer said that CUCM registration is the only way for Trio 8800 to join a Webex meeting. He said that Trio 8800 cannot even dial/join or work with calendar exchange without CUCM registraiton.
Is this true? I have just talked to Cisco and they do not recommend me buying a CUCM for this issue.
Can anyone help with this? I have wasted too much time on this..Webex is on line 4.

I am not sure if the Poly engineer has opened a ticket for me. But 1 Poly engineer & 1 Sales person (who recommended me to buy Trio 8800) has tried to make my Trio 8800 working with WebEx.
Of course I spent a lot of time to search on this community, but unfortunately nothing worked for me.
As I explained, Poly engineer said that Trio 8800 only works when CUCM is registered (I am not even sure if this is true), however Cisco sales person did not recommend to purchase CUCM because the sales person said that there must be a way of using Trio 8800 to join a WebEx other than CUCM.
Finally I found this then I have imported, but still no luck.
Could you please help me with this matter? I purchase two years ago and still cannot use Trio properly.
