welcome to the Poly Community.

 

The CX5100 as you can see => here <= in the Data Sheet is an optimized for Microsoft Skype for Business USB device.

 

It can be used, with limitations, with other clients.

 

You may want to look at the Poly Studio => here <= instead.

Hello @diverse ,

 

as already stated the unit is optimized to be used with a Microsoft client. In this configuration, you get the active speaker and a 360 ribbon view.

 

Other clients cannot present the ribbon view. I have no knowledge which clients do support this.

 

A Poly Studio may be the better choice for you.
