Hi all,

we have a HDX7000 (software rel. 3.0.5-22695) and are experiencing some issues with transferring video calls.

What I am trying to achieve is the following:

  1. System A (a Cisco EX90 SIP-registered with service provider 1) calls system B (HDX 7000, h323-registered with service provider 2)
  2. System A initiates a call transfer in order to transfer the call to system C (some URI, not important)
  3. System A is disconnected from system B, System B calls system C and establishes the call

This actually works fine as long as system B (HDX) has the multipoint option enabled. When multipoint is disabled, the HDX is unable to initiate the call to system C.

When looking at the system log on the HDX, it looks like the HDX immidiately tries to disconnect from system A when receiving the transfer request, and a DRQ (disconnect request) is sent to the gatekeeper.

However, it starts trying to establish the new connection with system C before the gatekeeper confirms the DRQ (disconnect request) for the first call with system A.

When this happens, the call to system C fails due to "No more room in conference":

2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: Conf[0]: ConfWillAllowedConnCountExceed: allowedConns 2 numNativeVoiceConns 0 numVideoConns = 1
2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: Conf[0]: ConfWillAllowedConnCountExceed: allowedConns 3 numNativeVoiceConns 0 numVideoConns = 1
2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: Conf[0]: no more room in the conference ...
2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: DialManualCmd: error response dial manual 0 0 0 -49

A couple of lines further down, the DRQ for the first call is confirmed and that call is disconnected:

2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: H323Call[0]: Gatekeeper confirmed our DRQ or we timed out waiting for a response; end the call.

2013-05-27 12:30:09 INFO avc: pc[0]: H323Call[0]: incoming disconnected, cause code:16
2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: H323Call[0]: state:"disconnecting" --> "disconnected"
2013-05-27 12:30:09 WARNING avc: pc[0]: H323Call[0]: CallStateChangedCallback unhandled state 0
2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: NOTIFY: COMM call state 0 disconnected 16
2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: call state callid=1 state = 0 cat=1 type=3
2013-05-27 12:30:09 DEBUG avc: pc[0]: H323Conn[0]: deleting call - H323Call[0]
2013-05-27 12:30:09 INFO avc: pc[0]: H323Conn[0]: H323Call[0] deleted, address:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

...but at this point, the second call has already failed.

Is there a way to make this work without enabling the multipoint option on the HDX? We also want to make this work on several HDX 6000 where multipoint is not available.

I hope someone out there has an idea on how to solve this, I can provide further details if necessary.

Thanks in advance,
Øystein
