Hello,

can two cx5000 systems work so that panorama camera is active on both ends during a livemeeting conference? The equipment is ok but the first panorama camera does not allow the other to work at the same time, only a laptop camera is available on the other end). Is this a feature or is there a fix?

regards,

Petteri Häivälä

Hello Petteri Häivälä,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Can you please specify how you connected these units to a PC ? Both at the same time ?

The CX5000 is a USB camera and only the compatible software (i.e. LYNC client etc) can utilize both the panoramic and the active speaker view.

Any support simultaneously having two CX5000 connected to the PC would need to be requested from Microsoft.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
