Dear all,

I purchased a Poly x70 and the performance is good.

l tried x30 and x50, they support Microsoft teams rooms. Why Poly x70 cannot support?

Will it release in coming updates or any roadmap plan?

Thanks,

William

Hello @WilliamLAM ,

The community contains individual sections dealing with the different products we offer Voice, Audio/Video, UC Infrastructure, or Others.

Your post or the post you replied to was placed into an incorrect section and has therefore already been moved.

Our Partner Microsoft needs to certify our devices and the G7500 and the X70 will be officially supported once we release Software 4.0 later this month(Subject to change).

Best Regards

Hello @Ayr Farmers ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

A community search reveals this post >here< as an example

I can only give the same reply/answer aka it is delayed.

We are all just volunteers here and it is not our day job so if you require an official answer please work with a Poly Reseller and/or Poly sales and they can update you on timelines.

Once it is released we will post the new software release

The best and quickest way forward is to contact our Support organization as the community is run by volunteers only.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Same here, waiting for PolyOS 4.x

As i understood in former discussions, x70 is using USB to connect the camera part to the board, and teams is (as of today) not certified for androids with a USB-connected camera.

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but just as a reply to "why it cannot.."

What is the best way to find out or to be notified when the 4.0 firmware is released?
Thanks!

Hello @Kelly Leveille ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

multiple ways:

  • Subscribe to the Poly Support Page and when a new Software is released you will receive an email
  • Subscribe or Monitor the Poly community and once the software is released either a community volunteer or myself will post about it
  • Open a Poly Support ticket and request to be updated once this has been released

I am closing this post to prevent further questions that cannot be answered by us volunteers

Best Regards
