To overcome these kinds of issues, and help users adopt video into their daily communications and interactions, we’ve created the Polycom Adoption Portal. Packed with tools and resources, this helps drive awareness, shows users how to use your solution, and makes them feel comfortable making video calls. If you’re already signed up to Polycom Advantage Service, up to 100 of your users can access the Adoption Portal, and you can get regular Utilization Reports free of charge. But even if you don’t have Advantage, if you have Polycom HDX or Group Series, Microsoft Lync or RealPresence Mobile on iPad, your users can access the portal as a service, with a range of resources in languages including English, French, Spanish and soon to be added Russian.

Video tutorials, how-to’s, FAQs, blogs and more

The Adoption Portal lets you create a customized online resource for your Polycom users. With an always-current array of video tutorials, how-to’s, FAQs, blogs and other content, it gives users on-demand access to the information they need, saves the time and expense of in-person training, and minimizes demands on IT for user support.

The Adoption Portal has four sections:

• ‘Start’ has basic information to help your users begin their video collaboration experience
• ‘Training’ hosts a series of short video clips (most of them around just a minute in length) that are really easy for users to follow
• ‘Support’ provides detailed instructions and help with using specific Polycom solutions
• ‘News’ includes updates on the very latest product features, and information relevant to your business
