Earlier this month, Polycom hosted its annual Industry Analyst Event – PACE.  Held at our San Jose HQ, PACE 2015 included 18 industry analysts who traveled from all corners of the globe to join Polycom’s Senior Leadership Team, key partners and customers to discuss key trends shaping the future of Collaboration as part of the “Workplace of The Future.”

The two-day event included a mix of presentations from Polycom regarding its key vision and product strategy, and rich two-way interactions where attendees shared perspectives on the direction of the industry, the technical innovations and partner ecosystems that will be part of its continued evolution.

The event opened with remarks from Polycom CEO, Peter Leav, who provided an overview of Polycom’s business, including an inside look at the investments and product introductions the company is making that will allow the company to continue to be a leader in the Collaboration and Conferencing market.  They also had the chance to interact directly from other leaders at Polycom across several functional areas, all of which were given a first look at up and coming solutions. You can hear more about it via a live webinar from our launch event in New York City on October 7, 2015.

In addition to Polycom, of course they heard from Microsoft, one of our leading partners. As you can imagine, some of the most insightful discussions centered around the needs and habits of the next-generation of workers, and about how we as an industry will leverage different solutions and make it easy for customers.

Overall, the event was a success, with both analysts and executives leaving with new insights on the future of the industry, and continued confidence of Polycom’s role within it.  But don’t just take our word for it, see what the analysts are saying by joining the conversation on Twitter at #PLCMPACE.

Thank you to everyone who attended PACE 2015, and to the amazing team that pulled it off, we look forward to seeing you all again at next year’s event!
