Hello all,

Polycom® RealPresence® Mobile 3.0 for iOS has been released to the Apple store.

What's New

  • Support for Content send of .jpg, .png, .ppt, .xls, .doc, html stored locally or in the cloud on Dropbox
  • Video quality enhancements through H.264 High Profile support
  • Hands-free auto answer, auto answer mute audio/video (requires app running in foreground)
  • Support for iOS Auto VPN
  • Enabled users to hide or display local self-view

Please check the release notes and other documents => here <= for more details

Please Note:

A known issue on RPD and RPM version 3.0 on content is if you create a Continuous Presence (CP) only conference call on a Polycom® RMX® 4000/2000 system and RMX/Polycom® RealPresence® Collaboration Server 800s version 8.1 with default content settings (Content Settings: HiResGraphics and Content Protocol: H.264 HD), the RPM/RPD application cannot send or receive content if call rate is set as 384 kbps or below.

Workarounds are:

  • Change the RMX Content Settings to Graphics and Content Protocol to H.263 & H.264 Auto Selection
  • or set the call rate on RPM/RPD to above 384 kbps
