Hello paolob,

that is a valid point but this is not how we operate with our corporate customers and this is not a normal scenario for these customers either as most of them would not immediately upgrade to the latest and greatest.

My original reply already included the path you can take in order to escalate this into Polycom.

We will look at this and include this in a next maintenance release but for now, as stated in the release notes, we do not support High Sierra.

Best Regards

We'll escalate using other channels as you suggest..

That said, both the compatibility issue itself and Polycom's written refusal to accept reasonable responbility for failiing to provide timely updates are problems.   I'd understand if this was some fringe operating system we were expecting support for.   However, this is MacOS almost 4 months after it was released for testing and almost a month after GA.   In today's BYOD world expecting your legacy view of enterprise is support is no longer valid--especially with something like RealDesktop which is meant to support remote employees who are more typically BYOD.

Hello mchernis67,

I am unsure why you believe there is a written refusal that we will not support a operating system.

All my colleague and myself did was comment on a fact that we never stated support for this new version.

I did inform you that support will be added in the next maintenance release but cannot give a timeline within this public forum.

As already outlined various times please work with support and/or sales on this.

We know nothing about your organisation so therefore we cannot respond to this in a manner yourself or your organisation requires.

Please take some time to read my signature as I am only commenting here in a private role and do not represent Polycom.

Best Regards
