Hello!

I am running the RP Mobile 2.1 on iPhone 4S. For registration I use the CMA 6.0.3.

If I lock the iPhone, after 10 min I will see on CMA, that my iPhone losts a registration and has offline status.

On a gatekeeper logs message I see:a URQ message from iPhone.

I've tried to find some information about this issue in Polycom's documentation, but I found nothing.

Is it correct work of the application?

Thank you.

Hello,

What you are seeing is how it will work.  Because you are locking your phone the apps on the phone such as RealPresence Mobile will eventually go into a "sleep" mode.  This is done for a few reasons including, saving battery life on the device and most importantly for security reasons.

I will ask if there is a way to change this and get back to you.  I am not sure there is anything on the CMA Provisioning side that will adjust this but if you find something please let me know.

Hello.

Thank you for your reply!

I've received a confirmation from a Polycom's product manager.

iOS will kill the socket connection of the app after the app is put into background for a few minutes.

I'm a little disappointed because a Polycom's documentation doesn't contain any description this limitation.

For example Skype client works all time even in a "sleep" mode.
