I typically have at least 2 speed dials on a GroupSeries - SW version shouldn't matter - where the user can launch into the Zoom Lobby or RealConnect lobby so they can join meetings on an ad-hoc basis by typing in a meeting code or VTC code.

Previously, and I could be mistaken, I had 000000@t.plcm.vc in the SIP address field in the favorites of our Group Series units - and I thought that worked.  But now I get "the call cannot be completed"

With Zoom, I use an IP address - based on a list for EST and that works fine.

With RealConnect, I tried 13.68.91.113 based on a list I found during a search, but that failed as well.  Is there an updated list of IP addresses for a GroupSeries Favorite/SpeedDial for the RealConnect lobby?

Thanks.

There are two components to the RealConnect dial string. The tenant ID and the meeting ID.

000000 isn't a valid tenant ID, you have to replace the 0's with your tenant ID number. Once you dial in using your tenant ID then you can type in the meeting ID.

Still no joy with this.

On our Trios - all I have in the Line 2 SIP is t.plcm.vc and it puts me into the RealConnect Lobby where one can manually enter their VTC meeting info.

On the Group Series - I'm putting 123456789@t.plcm.vc in the SIP address for dial out - and I'm getting "number not recognized"  (our tenant ID is in place of 123456789)

Same Group Series does OTD fine and joins RealConnect Teams meetings fine.

I can get into Zoom Lobbies and Blue Jeans Lobbies with an IP address.

Is there an IP address that would work?  I'm missing something easy.

Working on this with our reseller. But haven't been able to test it out yet.  They are saying that my address works in a direct dial situation - which I haven't tried.  But I want to do this in a Favorite/Speed Dial entry.  Will let you know when I've figured it out.

No answers yet, but did some testing, which may provide clues to an answer.

I'm not in the office, but connected via VPN and brought the Group Series up in my web browser.  I performed a direct call using the custom h323 address, and based on the remote diagnostics, successfully connected via H323.

However, in a Group Series favorite, I put the same address in the SIP address field, and this time the call appeared to connect, but only as a SIP call without Video.

The device is indeed registered as a SIP device in case someone wants to make an audio-only call on the system - since it's tied into overhead speakers and mics - it's nice.  But the downside of this is that the favorites are treating the address as SIP rather than H323.  So where do I put an H323 address in the favorites?

I posed the same questions to the reseller.

System Software is Release - 6.2.2.6-650033

So the answer was:

Put the 123456789@t.plcm.vc address in the IP Address field, not the SIP field.

Seems rather obvious now, but didn't at the time.
