Heart of a Hall of Famer Series: Ron Yary
Our character education series, Heart of a Hall of Famer, begins the school year with a video conference on Thursday, September 26 at 12:00 noon and 1:30 PM ET. Join Pro Football Hall of Fame tackle Ron Yary as he talks about the traits that made him one of the game's greatest. Yary, who was the first overall selection of the 1968 draft, started in four Super Bowls with the Minnesota Vikings. Currently, Yary works as a consultant for a structural concrete builder in California.

He is the founder of the Legacy Leadership Project, a mentorship program which matches high school seniors throughout the country with a member Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is also a speaker for the Be the Match Foundation that aims to educate college athletes about the importance of joining the list of volunteer donors willing to donate their bone morrow to save the lives of children and people needing stem cell (bone morrow) transplants.

This session is open to six interactive sites and unlimited view only. Test connections will take place on Wednesday September 25 at 12:00 noon ET. The program is designed for grades 6th-12th and is FREE of charge.
