Lens Desktop to work with supported Poly Products

Setting up Lens Desktop to work with the Poly Lens cloud account

 

In order for the Lens Desktop to associate with Poly Lens in the cloud the administrator must send a Email from Poly Lens to the User that wants to use this functionality to see and potentially manage their devices.

The user using Poly Lens Desktop can then sign into the Desktop version and the association between the Lens Cloud tenant and Lens Desktop "device user" is created.

Requirements: 
 

  • Poly Lens Desktop requires either Windows 10 (32 bit or 64 bit) and up or Mac OS X 10.14.6 and up 

  Known Issues:   

  • For best performance, especially related to call control, Poly recommends having only Poly Lens Desktop active and closing Plantronics Hub and/or Polycom Companion App so that they are not running in the background. 
  • On Windows-based PCs, when using virtual camera apps, such as OBS Studio or Nvidia Broadcast, access to camera controls in the Lens Desktop app will be unavailable.
