Hi all,
We have a number of Poly desk phones signed in to Microsoft Teams. We want to manage settings such as admin password, web admin and screen capture with Poly Lens, but we want to manage the firmware with the Teams Admin Center. It doesn't appear to be possible to remove the "Software Update" settings from the CCX 500 Model Policy. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is it not possible to enroll a device in Poly Lens without Lens taking over management of software updates?
Thanks!

Hello @rgsteele
welcome back to the Poly community.
I ran this internally by some colleagues and a suggestion was to use a "bogus" server
An official request for this would need to be done via a Poly sales engineer or Poly reseller or via the Lens Feedback button at the bottom right.
Best Regards
Steffen Baier
If official support is required please check how to phone or open a case here
----------------Since I did not receive any reply, I am assuming it is not possible to enroll a device with Poly Lens without having Lens take over management of software updates on the device.

----------------Thanks Steffen. Can you please confirm that configuring a "bogus" server as you suggest will not prevent the device from connecting to the Microsoft Teams update server?
Thanks for pointing out the Lens Feedback button; I have submitted a suggestion there.
