Hello,

Am running a mix of x50 and x70s with TC8 on poly firmware 4.0.0.376092 in Teams mode.

I'm aware of the inheritance model where Device policy will override Site policy but discovered something odd.

In the past when I configured a setting under Device policy a small bin/bucked icon would appear next to that settings so I could remove/default that setting.  That icon is no longer showing for any Device policy settings I have made.

For instance, I wanted to try and test the standby setting under General Settings, Power Savings in LENS on an x50 - I changed this value to 15 mins. All other devices in LENS have no policy setting under any policy hierarchy so they are set at default to 0

My test worked and then I set a Site Policy (that included the x50 above) to 15 mins.

I cannot remove the Device policy at all for the single x50 I set (all other devices have picked up the Site policy as expected), if I set that back to 0 mins then that becomes the new overriding policy and naturally ignores the Site policy which is the preference in my setup.

Has the method to remove a Device policy setting changed or ?

Just an after thought, am using the Edge browser 112.0.1722.64 with no real option to change to another in my environment.

Thanks and Cheers

Thank you.  Didn't even know a Ply Lens section existed.  Cannot find it yet through the community menu system but can get to it from this post.

Cheers

Hi FlashPan,

I did not see a option to reset all device policy setting at once, but every setting has a second column Policy Inheritance. Here can you see where the current setting is coming from and can be changed.
