PolyP15WindowsUpdateService flooding event log 'Control code: SERVICE_CONTROL_INTERROGATE.'

I recently received a Poly P15 to evaluate.  Since installing this device, my Application event log has been flooded with events from source 'PolyP15WindowsUpdateService'.  The Event IDs don't seem to be a number representing a specific event, they are just a simple counter with the event ID increasing by 1 each time it is logged.  The events are logged roughly 3 times a minute, and all have the same content:

The description for Event ID 27632 from source PolyP15WindowsUpdateService cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

control code: SERVICE_CONTROL_INTERROGATE.

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

What is causing all of these log entries, and how can I make them stop?

Thanks,

NeighborGeek

Hello @Neighborgeek ,

Welcome back to the Poly Community.

Please raise this with our support organization and ask this to be assigned to me. I assume you are using SW 2.1.0 for the P15?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello @Martien ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

As this is not a service-affecting issue no I am not aware of a solution as of yet. The original poster brought this into our support organisation via ticket 34396130

The best and quickest way forward is to contact our Support organization as the community is run by volunteers only.
