Introducing Polycom Companion

Welcome to the Polycom Support Community for Polycom Companion!

Polycom Companion makes it easier than ever to manage your Polycom USB Devices. With an easy to understand interface, and native integration into our devices, users no longer have to worry about installing and running different applications for each of their devices.

Instead, Companion acts as a single application to see update availability for Firmware, check software and hardware versions, see device info, and see the connection status of your devices. With this all-in-one application, not only can you manage your device software, you can also use the mobile application for simple controls of paired USB cameras.

Amplify your organization with the Polycom Companion, allowing you to see the big picture instead of worrying about micromanaging each of your devices separately.

The Companion is available on the Polycom Support Portal's Polycom Companion product page.

Steps to download and install Polycom Companion:

  • Select the “Polycom Companion” release on the Polycom Companion product page.
  • Windows and Mac versions are available as .exe, .dmg files.
  • Go to your downloads and click PolycomCompanionSetup.exe.
  • Follow the installation prompts and launch it

Steps to update the EagleEye Mini Camera firmware:

  • Plug the camera in your computer,
  • Navigate to “Update” and
  • click “Update” Button to start the Firmware update.
