Hello,  my VTX 1000 conference phone has very low volume.  I can barely hear it when in a call.  Any suggestion how could it be fixed?  Turn the volume button up or down doesn't make any differences.  Thanks!

You can test the speaker with the diagnostics tests from the Admin menu.  The volume control has no affect on these tests. The the loudness of the tests is not very loud but in a quiet room can be heard from well over 10 feet away.

Have you tested with other phone jacks?  Is the VTX connected to a PBX?  Sometimes there may not be enough signal voltage. Try a straight analog jack like you have at home.

What is the history?  Has the phone worked well before? If yes has its location changed? Has anything else changed?

If all this shown no improvement contact Polycom Support.
