Hi,

We sold a VTX1000 to a customer last year which was bought through a local dealer channel here in Australia. Our end customer has complained that whilst in idle mode, the unit will turn off and on again every half an hour making the beep as it does in start up mode (with the orange light illuminated). The serial number is B2134103F2D3. Is this still under warranty?

I have plugged it into a power source and so far have had no problems. I have been told that the issue may be with the actual power in the end customers building. Are there any issues that you are aware of that could cause this reset?

Thanks in advance

Hello Brian,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The unit was sold in April 2014 so depending it its still within the 1 year warranty.

As you cannot reproduce the issue a customer power issue may cause this so even replacing the unit via an RMA would show the same behaviour.
