Soundstation 2 EX will not work with a known working Analog Port off a NEC Electra Elite IPK2 .

Model 2200-16200-001.  New PolyCom Soundstation EX.

Works on a POTs line used for a faxs machine but will not work on the analog port from my NEC IPK2.

I can connect a Buttset to the analog port that I want to use at the location I want the soundstation to be at and I can make calls...

I connect the soundstation at this location I get a motor boat or static sound....No Dial tone. Although the soundstation saids ready.

What else do I need to make this work. At my wits end...Please help me.

I just solved my own issue.  I found that house wiring although allowed analog to travel across one pair there was digital one the other that was causing my pain.  Thanks for your time.
