SoundStation 2 - 2201-03308-001 - can't dial out

We have a SoundStation 2 installed on a PBX.  When you dial 9 1-NXX-XXX-XXX, it does not allow you to dial the number & a "you must dial a 1..." message comes up.  There is no destination restriction or any other dialing issues with the PBX. Even after programming it to use LCR access, it still won't let you dial an outside number.  When programmed for Internal Access on Off Hook Preference, it will dial the internal extensions.  I know there is a setting on the IP Conference Units for how many digits to dial, but I cannot find any documentation for the analog units.  HELP!!!

Hello @Liz_Chamas ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

An analog SoundStation, unlike the quoted SoundStation IP, does not have any logic that would prevent you from dialling and/or ability to display any messages.

An analog phone simply sends the digit's in DTMF to the PSTN which then decides what the phone can do.

I suggest you work with your PABX vendor.
