I have a Polycom Station 2 part# 2201-16200-001 E, with a SoundStation 2 wall module part# 2201-16020-001 D. The Polycom Station 2 does not ring for incoming calls nor will the 3 LEDs light up. I have the ringer volume turned all the way up on the Polycom Station 2. I get dial tone on the Polycom Station 2 and I can make calls fine. I have tried connecting a POD analog phone to the same phone line and it rings fine. What could be causing this problem?

Has this unit ever worked before or is this a new install?
Was the unit purchased in the country you are intending to use it?
I can only suggest that you contact Polycom via your Reseller if the Unit is still within warranty.

I have exact same problem. Rebuilt the phone on different TN, copied the one other SS2(M2616 clone).. I've tried everything. The SS2 will make calls no problem. When you dial it, it does not ring. You can hit the phone/answer button and it will answer. The ringer is not set to off. I've swapped it out with the other SS@ M2616 clone we have it it works fine.
I suspect its an obscure setting in the set built in the PBX (Nortel Option 61c)
