We would like to describe the exact problem with our Polycom SoundStation 2W Device. The problem is when we call others, our voice quality is very good to them at first,  but sometimes they complain of noisy and interrupting sound and they can not hear us well.

we think maybe it is the problem of wireless device and when something comes up (like any common noise of environment, for ex, the rain sound), we will have the problem.

We have tested the device in some other rooms in the office but the problem remains unsolved.

We have also upgraded the device from the Polycom website and also tested it with other phone line in other places.

We have bought this device  just as test, to buy more of them for our abroad branches but it didn't sound qualified yet.

I appriciate anyone who kindly consider this problem and let us know how can we solve it.

kind regards

Hello shirazi,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I have never heard of this issue and due the fact that it is a digital connection I doubt a external source would cause an interference. Have you tried an analog phone on the same line?

Dear Steffen

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have tested other analog phones on same line and they are ok, but soundstation 2W have got some problems.

I can also call you with the device so can hear the problem in voice by yourself.

Because remote people tells us that the voice is getting interrupted (the can not hear all the words we say, just some of them), I think maybe it is the problem of wireless access point.

Anyway, Do you have any solution? Is there any test we can do?
