I have a SE-220 and use it for 3-5 calls per day.  It's worked fine for the last  few years but three weeks ago I too, have just started getting line disconnects. Same wire, same connection (only line 1).

Mine acts like a power surge hits it.  I can dial, it will ring and then the phone disconnects and then reconnects quickly..  Switching the wall wire from line 1 to line 2 is no improvment either.  I'm not able to send DTMF tones after connecting on either line.

Conditions still the same after performing master reset and reboot.

Is there a firmware update that I can try?

Have you tried pluging a known-working analog phone into that line(s) to see if you get the same, or similar behavior?
