I have seen other posts that mention using the proper cable with the Sound Station 2.

The cable I have was supplied to me by the reseller.

SO...

Is there a way to (on the cable itself) see a refrenece that would tell me if I have the reight cable for my phone ?

Can someone tell me on the pink microphone plug what each pin does (tip, ring, sleeve) so I can try to

see if it matches my computer's pins. My volume is so low that it won't register on the computer.

Yet in the documentation it seems that if a computer sound card does NOT have a mic input, one could connect the pink

cable to a computer's line input (which does not even have a gain control to boost volume).

Is there "electronics" at the "Y" junction of the cable, could that be broken OR is there a gain control at the output of the 2.5mm

plug in the phone that could also be busted ?

Thanks for the help

Dan
