I've been tasked with setting up a group room to allow for us to dial into an earnings call.  Using the 2.5mm output and a converter, can I run a line into the 3.5mm input on our amp to allow the audio of the call to play over the room's ceiling speakers?  If so, can we still use the mic to ask questions?  TIA!

Hello @CrjD,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The input on these phones can be used to usually connect a PC or a Mobile Phone and the SoundStation in question will then be the Microphone and Speaker for the connected device.

Thanks Steffen but that really doesn't help me.  Can I use a J9 to 3.5mm telephone connector from one of the "extension" jacks on the bottom side then?

Can you check your SoundStation 2 wall module if it has an Auxilery output as described => here <=

 

If yes simply follow the explanation on page 19
