Solved: VVX601 UC 6.3.0 Not allowing to change input passw...

Hi,

I have a VVX601 that somehow had its application deleted from the phone, I was able to provision the phone, however when I get the Set Admin Password screen, the enter button does nothing on the phone, neither does the emergency button. I can type out the old and new and confirmation passwords however I can't progress past this screen. The old password is 456 and I want it to stay the same. How do I fix this?

It appears switching to the latest version of 6.3.8427 resolves the issue. I had to reset settings in the setup menu as well as format the file system.

Hello @SeanKellyRJC ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Since UC Software 6.3.0 >here< the password, according to California law cannot be the standard Poly password and must be changed.

There is no way around this as far as I know.

I can't change it to anything, I tried entering a random series of numbers but it is not taking my password.
