Hello,
We have a lync environment with VVX and Trio phones.
Trio FW: 5.4.5.9188
VVX FW: 5.5.2
We've discovered the normalization rules (created on lync server) are not working correctly when we use the "Meet Now" feature.
Basically, when in "Meet Now" the phone applies the last rule that match the number dialed.
For example, we have two rules in this order:
RIO-Local: ^(([2-9]\d{7,8}|[34]00\d{5}))$ Transform: +5521$1
RIO-KeepAll: ^(\d+)$ Transform: +55$1
When we dial a Rio local number for a normal call, the first rule has applied.
When we dial a Rio local number in "Meet Now", the last rule has applied, so the call failed.
Can you check this behavior, please?
Hello @Enrico,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
This is caused by the Trio not supporting the whole dial plan in versions prior to 5.5.2
Please upgrade the phone to at least 5.5.2 and re-test this.
The same is applicable to a VVX as only 5.6.0 introduced the full support for regular expressions.

----------------Hello,
I've updated the firmware on the Trio device and now the rules are applied correctly also in "Meet Now".
With the new firmware the Trio always boot locked, I have this config for all phones:
<feature.deviceLock feature.deviceLock.enable="0"></feature.deviceLock>
The Trio is signed on with a lync user.
Hello,
same issue if I log in as a Common Area Phone, Trio still boots locked.
any news?
thanks.
Hello @Enrico,
Any update on what ?
We are all volunteers and if you require support you need to open a ticket.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.
End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
