Hello @Sergo777 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

The answer to this is pretty easy, you cannot. the VVX is unable to run our Partners Microsoft IP phone application.

From our FAQ:

Dec 6, 2011 Question: What Phone Models support the LYNC 2010, LYNC 2013, Microsoft Office365, Skype for Business Online or Teams?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Only the CCX 400, 500, and 600 have support for Microsoft Teams. Please work with a Poly reseller as we offer attractive offers to trade in your old hardware.

Thanks Steffen, sorry but our service provider, who are working on migration from Lync on-prem to TEAMS (they already configured Teams part) says it should works and they did it before. What do you think about this - Polycom VVX 500 and 501 compatibility with Teams? : MicrosoftTeams (reddit.com)

thanks

Hello @Sergo777 ,

Simply follow my colleague Jeff Schertz instructions here: http://blog.schertz.name/2019/08/poly-trio-with-microsoft-teams/

The VVX is the same concept as the Poly Trio.

I will quote from the relevant part of the top comment on that Reddit post (emphasis mine):

When moving to SfB Server to Teams you'll not need to change the phone configuration (Assuming that autodiscover is being used). When you migrate your users off SfB Server the phones will instead sign-in to SfB Online to traverse an audio gateway (aka 3PIP gateway) into Teams. Even after SfB Online is retired this summer Microsoft will still allow the 3PIP-qualifed phones to register and access the gateway.

In other words: you don't need to do anything, unless you manually configured the SfB server settings in the phone's configuration, or your service provider is doing some kind of nonstandard migration. Either way, your service provider should be the ones helping you with this.

Note that only basic calling functionality is supported, as documented at this Microsoft Tech Community blog post: Skype for Business Certified IP Phones with Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Tech CommunityI recommend skimming through some of the 253 comments on that post to get a sense of how well this solution is working. Spoiler alert: sentiment is overwhelmingly negative.
