Good Morning,

My company is looking into moving to Teams based calling. Before my arrival, the company purchased VVX 411 devices, which as I've read, are Skype for Business compliant, but not yet Teams compliant.

During discussions with our VOIP provider, they mentioned hearing rumors of the VVX 411s getting a firmware upgrade in the near future to bring them into Teams compliance. Does anyone know what that timeline looks like? I'd rather not outlay a good chunk of the budget for new devices if this firmware upgrade is on the near horizon.

Hello @EBDG_Jake ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

The VVX phones will never get an update to run Teams. The VVX phones already have compatible software to register to Microsoft's 3PIP service with most features working towards Teams.

Microsoft recently announced a SIP gateway that will enable even older SIP phones to register to Teams but with limited functionality.
